The outcome of gathering up feedback for our media products was to enable us to see what the target auidence felt needed to be improvement and what conventrions they liked. When we were carring out out feedback, questionnaires etc. We chose to specifiy in recieving the feedback from whom we thought suited the target auidence to our genre of music so that the feedback was a realistic as possible. This is because this is the actual auidence of our media products so their feedback is more essitials for use to recognise and make improvements. I recieved feedback from a number of fellow students after presenting our pitch and also by commenting on our draft video and ancillary tasks. This feedback was very crucial to us and allowwed use to understand what needed improveing for the final video and ancillary tasks.

When we discussed and decided on the genre of music we would be focusing on, we reaseard about this style and creating a 25 word pitch on a programme called 'animoto'. We then went on to presesnting the pitch to the class who then gave us feedback accordingly. The class mates were the same age to use and the majority are suited to this 'indie' genre of music so there feedback would be very helpful. After recieving the feedback from the class we found out that there was mixed feeling about the ideas we had from the class mates. Some opinions of the class mates were positive as they said they liked the idea but others ask us things which we ourselves didnt really no the answers too. This should us that we need to spend more time reasearching into the target auidence more.

We noticed when gathering feedback from the the class based on the pitch that we hadnt included which type of video we would be producing either performance, disjunctive or narrative?. After the pitch we went away and research into the three different types of video and decided on which one we felt would be best for our video and our genre/stlye of music. The outcome of this research was that we were going to produce a performance video as we felt this would be the one which would work the best for our genre of music and the selected song. The genre of music which we followed generally used performance videos with the acception of a few this is why we decided to folow conventiosn of real media products and produce a performance video. The performance video is what we felt would be most effective for the song choice which is why we presude this style of video.

Feedback which we were given on our draft video was very useful as it allowed use to then make improvements for our final video. Audience feedback allowed me to see what the actual audience liked and what they thought needed improving. We had feedback from peers who commented on the lip syncing and how in some parts of the draft videos it was slightly out of sync. This was somthing that we took and made sure for the final video that the lip syncing was in time to the video.
